Established
in 1984, the Bahá'í School located in Saramsa, a
small hill-station about 12 kilometers from Gangtok, endeavours
to help each student fully develop his or her personality in an
atmosphere of love and unity.
The School offers a non-sectarian and multiracial education for
children from all races and creeds. The educational philosophy
of the school seeks to provide a balance between spiritual,
intellectual, social and physical training.

primary, the most urgent requirement is the promotion of
education. It is inconceivable that any nation should achieve
prosperity and success unless this paramount, this fundamental
concern is carried forward. The principal reason for the decline
and fall of peoples is ignorance."
